I was greeted by the sad news when I checked twitter this morning. One of the best singers we had, Whitney Houston died at the age of 48.
She was found dead in a hotel room in Beverly Hills California, February 11, 2012 and was pronounced dead around 3:55 pm PST.
According to CNN; Beverly Hills Police Lt. Mark Rosen said there were “no obvious signs of criminal intent” and that the cause of her death is being investigated.
She sold more than 170 million albums, singles and videos. It’s just so sad that she’d been associated with the wrong people and was struggling with drug addiction for years.
I will always remember her in her movie The Bodyguard with Kevin Costner. One of the best musical movie ever made. Almost all of the songs on that soundtrack became number one. I imagine her singing I will Always Love You!
I was hoping that she will recover and bounce back big time. She will be sober and regain her musical career. Even if we have great singers/diva now, there’s nothing than can be compared to her. Her voice is very unique. Every time she sings, you know that she is telling a story.
Fly high Whitney and let heaven experience your magnificent voice. You will always be remembered!!
